The St. Shenouda Society developed an Introductory Bohairic Grammar course for beginners that concentrate on learning the fundamentals of reading comprehension of Coptic used in the liturgical services and especially in the New Testament. It is composed of 12 lessons with written exercises at the end of each lesson, except for Lesson 12. There is a practice quiz after Lesson 6, to gauge the student learning progress. A written Final Exam can be requested by email from the Society. This course was initially developed and taught in 1984 in Los Angeles. The viewing copy below is the latest version from 1998.
